Our Purpose

For the last twenty years I have been working with various charities and realizing the importance of seeing which ones were effective and which ones were not. It became my passion and duty to visit various projects throughout the world so I could with confidence recommend them to others to either give resources or volunteer time there.  I am looking at smaller organizations who have little or no overhead.

I love the poem by Samuel Shoemaker called I Stand By the Door. His work inspired me a great deal when I was young so I now do my best to stand by the door and guide others to worthy projects.

I stand by the door,
I neither go too far in, nor stay too far out,
The door is the most important door in the world;
It is the door through which men walk when they find God.
